Titled "Algonquin Park, Circa 1910", signed with initials lower right, watercolour on paper, sight 22.9 x 29.8cm (9 x 11 3/4in); Provenance: from the collection of Kathlyn Hinton and Dr. John R. Bigham; verso is a letter reading "Dear Dr. Bingham, Because the "Park" was a bond between you and my father, I would like you to have this picture of his which you discussed together long ago. He told you, I think which lake it is. Mr. Brownell painted and gave it to him about 1910. Sincerely, Kathlyn Hinton, Gibson Ave., June 5th; together accompanied by a letter by Dr. John R. Bingham written on old prescription paper, "Mr. Hinton was a prime move in establishing Algonquin Park. I had the privilege of being the doctor of this very fine man at the end of his life.
