EMIKO SATSUTA

"Untitled: Tranquil River Scene with Boaters and Mount Fuji in the Distance", signed lower left, watercolour on paper, sight 23.5 x 29.8cm (9 1/4 x 11 3/4in) - Emiko Satsuta, 20th century Japanese artist; it is thought that Emiko Satsuta was the daughter of one of the caretakers Embassies in Yokohama leading up to the onset of World War II, where her work was presented to visiting dignitaries and sold to European travellers in Japan at the time
