"Untitled: Winter Landscape with Stream", signed lower right, oil on canvas, 50.8 x 61cm (20 x 24in) - Wiktor Korecki, Polish, 1890-1980; the artist studied at the Drawing School Muraszki in Kiev, and in 1921 moved to Warsaw, Poland, where he opened a studio; Korecki is best known for his Impressionist style technique which includes rural landscape paintings in the summer and winter seasons, this being a fine example by the artist
