Titled verso "Fisherman's Huts, Rockport" and dated "June, 1951" verso, oil on board, 50.8 x 61cm (20 x 24in); signed verso by the artist, also signed indistinctly in orange and inscribed "No. 150"; Provenance: Royal Gallery, Montreal and El Greco Art Gallery stamps to board verso; present private collection, London; Richard Jack, English/Canadian, 1866-1952; in 1916, he accepted a commission in the Canadian Army to paint for the Canadian War Records Office, becoming Canada's first official war artist
