Brass compass/sundial circa 1830 with internally domed mahogany case, paper dial with 32 cardinal points and 360 degree outer ring with 1 degree divisions, compass needle with pin/bar release (needle points north), finely chiseled brass sundial with hour ring in Roman numerals, gnomen striated and nicely shaped, wheat ear decorated, original glass - diameter 7.6cm (3in); some wear to case noted
