Titled "Cosway Cruise", a large scale mixed media abstract oil on canvas including oil, iron powder and wood installations, the canvas measures 1.38 x 1.4m (54 1/2 x 55 1/4in); displayed in a custom vintage 1.43 x 1.44m (56 1/4 x 56 3/4in) frame - Iain Turner, a 20th century Chatham-born artist who in the 1970's had a studio at the Banff Centre for Arts, approximately the same time this major work was executed; he worked with prominent artists including Paterson Ewen, and studied with Mick Durham, Max Drope, Ben Linsen and Rudolph Bikkers
