Jantzen swimwear vintage store display circa 1940-1950 with retro bathing suit (made in Israel), overall height 1.04m (41in) - Note: Jantzen began as the Portland Knitting Company in downtown Portland, Oregon, 1910, founded by Carl Jantzen, Roy and John Zehntbauer; the name was changed to "Jantzen Knitting Mills" in 1918, specializing in wool bathing suits, along with matching stockings and caps; the company was purchased by Perry Ellis in 2002 and is still making swimwear today
