Titled "Eckington Bridge" and pencil signed to the margin, signed with monogram in the plate lower right, woodcut print in colours, image size 15.2 x 20.3cm (6 x 8in); Provenance: private collection, London; professionally framed by Fred L. Curry, Toronto; Walter Joseph Phillips, Canadian, 1884-1963; born in Barton-upon-Humber, Lincolnshire, England, Phillips studied at the Birmingham School of Art, and later studied abroad in South Africa and Paris; he moved to Winnipeg in 1913, and resided in Canada for the rest of his life; Phillips is perhaps best known for his woodcut prints, and an exhibition of them was held at the McMichael Gallery in 2020
