Three abstract watercolours on paper housed in matching frames, sight for each 26.7 x 42.5cm (10 1/2 x 16 3/4in), 42.5 x 25.4cm (16 3/4 x 10in) and 25.4 x 34.9cm (10 x 13 3/4in); Dorothy (or Dorothea) Taber Stafford, born in 1902, was an American abstract artist who studied with Rudolph Weisenborn; her works have been exhibited at the Whitney Museum, The Art Institute of Chicago and a one woman show was held for her at the Paul Theobold Gallery in Chicago, 1944; Stafford passed away in 1985
