Highlights of this important offering include a 1946 A.Y. Jackson oil on panel, a major abstract oil by William Perehudoff and an early Ted Harrison acrylic on board, dated 1972.  Also included are works by prominent Canadian artists including Tom Hodgson, William Ronald, James Hergel, Dick Ferrier, Herbert Sydney Palmer, Joseph Ernest Sampson, L.A.C. Panton, Eric Friefeld, John Sloan Gordon, Duncan de Kergommeaux, Ronald Okey and Gordon Geza Marich.  Artists of local interest include paintings by Eva Bradshaw, William St. Thomas Smith, Val Sloggett, Ross Bishop, James Griffiths, Laura Douglas and Paddy Gunn O'Brien.  This auction also features a selection of quality prints, including Tom Thomson, A.J. Casson, Will Barnet and Clark McDougall serigraphs & silkscreens; together with Frederic Remington, Robert Bateman and Paul Fairley bronze sculptures. 

Unless mentioned otherwise, measurements described in the listing are the image size of the painting only (height x width); the frame size is not included.  A sincere effort has been made to mention or photograph any major flaws but all paintings are offered "as is" and the condition of frames is never guaranteed.  If you cannot visit our gallery in person, condition reports are always available by telephone or email. 

*Please note that shipping of larger paintings (typically any work where the painting size exceeds 24 x 30in) is not available through Canada Post.  As well, glass is always removed from the frame prior to shipping to avoid any damage during transport.  Please contact our office for a complimentary shipping quote prior to bidding.
