A vintage silkscreen print in colours on paper "Nasturtiums", signed in the plate lower right and hand-signed to the lower margin by Casson, sight 21 x 25.4cm (8 1/4 x 10in); some staining to matting upper left, not affecting the image; Alfred Joseph (A.J.) Casson, Canadian, 1898-1992; born in Toronto, Casson later studied at the Ontario College of Art under J.W. Beatty beginning in 1918, and in 1919 worked at Rous and Mann Ltd. as a commercial artist; in 1926, Casson joined the famous group of Canadian painters the Group of Seven, and was its youngest member; note this and the next two lots are from the same Ontario collection
