Pair of handmade sterling silver candlesticks with removable drip guards; some denting on bases - height 23.5cm (9 1/4in) and total weight 20.67oz, signed PP on base which is believed to be for Carl Poul Petersen (Danish-Canadian, 1895-1977), Carl apprenticed under Georg Jensen and married Jensen's daughter Inger, he is most famous for the engraving and eventually, the replication of the NHL's Stanley cup in 1962, the Petersen copy was designed to travel about to the winning team's home town as the original was often dented or damaged during travel and the Petersen copy is still in use today
