"Untitled: Still Life Study", signed lower right, oil on canvas, 91.4 x 61cm (36 x 24in) - Saverio Tralli was born in 1927 in Matera, Italy and lived in Toronto for many years where he had an art gallery called Tralli's Arts; this versatile artist painted a wide variety of subjects including landscapes, mountain scenes, harbour scenes, seascapes, portraits, horses, and florals; note this and lots 4449 and 4452 are from the same London collection
