Beal Technical School in London and after a brief apprenticeship with Jack Chambers, became a full time artist
Jones' works are represented in many major public collections and galleries including Canada Council Art Bank, Museum London, McIntosh Gallery, Michael Gibson Gallery, Confederation Centre Art Gallery, Province of Ontario, City of Toronto Archives and in many private and corporate collections across the world; his works seldom come up for sale by auction, with only four known records including a major oil painting from his Neighbours Series sold November, 2021 at Gardner Galleries for a world record price of $38,000.00
