Complete set of six 18th century engravings from "The Harlots Progress", dated 1798/1799, which depicts the tragic story of young Moll Hackabout, who arrives in London only to be taken in by brothel-keeper Elizabeth Needham, and is eventually beaten, jailed and dies of disease; the six prints are in order as:
1) Moll Hackabout arrives in London at the Bell Inn, Cheapside
2) Moll is now a kept woman, the mistress of a wealthy merchant
3) Moll has gone from kept woman to common prostitute
4) Moll beats hemp in Bridewell Prison
5) Moll dying of syphilis
6) Moll's wake
