Webber’s illustrations and engravings are an important and valuable record and considered some of the most accurate depictions of the regions, flora and fauna, and people and their daily lives encountered on Cook’s voyages of discovery; this image was observed in early May 1779 in the village of Petropavlovsk
The engraving comes with extra wide margins with an image size of 21.6 x 38.1cm (8 1/2 x 15in) - presented in excellent condition on studio board with protective clear film.
