Gardner Galleries is pleased to announce a series of upcoming online auction sessions devoted entirely to furnishings removed from the estate residence of Dr. Maurice and Muriel Brown. Their elegant riverside home in Wallaceburg, Ontario was furnished from attending estate auctions and frequenting Ontario's premier art and antique dealers over several decades, including Jonny's Antiques in Shakespeare and The Paisley Shoppe, Toronto.

Some highlights include perhaps the finest private collection of Upper Canada figured maple furniture together with Moorcroft pottery, sterling silver, art glass (including Tiffany, Lalique and Steuben), Canadian art and much more of interest. Cataloguing will commence shortly and the proposed sessions are as follows:

SESSION I: Decorative Arts Part One

SESSION II: Upper Canada Furniture

SESSION III: Fine Art

SESSION IV: Antique & Traditional Furniture

SESSION V: Decorative Arts Part Two

SESSION VI: General Estate Furnishings

Once cataloging has been completed, the above sessions will be available to view online. Below is a small sample of Canadian fine art, Upper Canada furniture and decorative arts from the Brown collection:
