English sterling silver tea and coffee service hallmarked for Robert Harper, London, 1859, the pear-shaped bodies on scrolled "lion mask" feet; each with two scrolled bordered body cartouches, one side having an engraved family crest and other as follows: coffee pot a desert oasis with figures, camels and palm trees (finial an Arab merchant on rug); coffee pot shows Chinese rice merchants with pagodas (finial a seated figure with opium pipe); twin-handled sugar bowl with a man hoeing and overseer by his horse; creamer a milkmaid and cow - later two pieces with vermeil interiors, total weight 84.60 troy ounces
