Original vintage Shaw's advertising sign from the first Shaw's Dairy store opened in London, Ontario (Waterloo and Hale St.) in 1956, laminate laid down on wood board, outside dimensions 74.9cm (29 1/2in) high x 1.25m (49 1/4in) wide; Note: Carl Shaw moved to St. Thomas, Ontario in 1937 and purchased a dairy; Shaw's Ice Cream was founded in 1948, Shaw's Dairy Store in 1956 and in 1972, the Dairy Dell was purchased from Harry Read, which went through countless changes throughout the years including a petting farm, pony rides, to the "Great North American Monkey Barrel"
