Exceptional antique French travel trunk circa 1900-1920, signed inside for "Au Touriste, Paris", with leather canvas, brass fittings and two leather handles; two original & rare interior compartments and two old shipping labels showing the trunk travelled on the Canadian Pacific railway and Southern Railway, Balham (England); a glass-top preserve has been added to the top, which can convert use into a coffee table; some wear commensurate with age - dimensions 21in high, 39 1/2in wide, 21 1/2in deep; similar examples found for sale online from $4,000 to $6,000
