Viewing in-person is highly encouraged to satisfy prospective bidders with size, condition and brightness/colour.  Most 19th century paintings in this auction are housed in period frames; however, condition of frames cannot be guaranteed.  Unless mentioned otherwise, measurements are of the image only (height by width), the frame size not included.  If you are unable to visit us in person, feel free to contact our office for a detailed condition report (info@gardnergalleries.com or 519-439-3333).     

*Please note shipping of larger paintings (typically any work where the painting size exceeds 24 x 30in) is not available through Canada Post.  As well, glass is always removed from the frame prior to shipping to avoid any damage during transport.  Please contact our office for a free shipping quote prior to bidding.
