The Ethnographic Art & Artifact Collection from the estate of Dr. Lewis E. Tauber without additions from other sources. Dr. Tauber traveled extensively to Papua New Guinea and purchased many of the pieces in this sale directly from villagers. He also frequented auctions and antique shops in the Toronto area supplementing his collection with African and First Nations art. Gardner Galleries will be conducting future auction sessions from the Tauber estate featuring Inuit and fine art.

A sincere effort has been made to catalogue or photograph any major flaws; however, everything must be offered "as is".  Viewing in person is strongly recommended and condition reports for any lot in this auction are available by telephone or email.  

Shipping via Canada Post for larger items is not available for this auction. It is advised to contact our office for a complimentary shipping quote prior to bidding.
