THE ART COLLECTION OF RON SMITH

Buyer's Premium:

22% (2% discount on cash or debit) and HST added to all purchases

This auction features artwork from the estate of the late Ronald (Ron) Smith of London, Ontario, without additions and offered without any reserves. Ron was a passionate collector and most auction houses, art galleries and art dealers across Ontario knew of Ron and his love for art. His collection began with more traditional works including landscape paintings, later evolving to abstracts and paintings with vibrant colours. Highlights include works by Daniel Soloman, Tom Hodgson, Rolph Scarlett, John Fox, Isaac Tarkay and H.P. Weaver; together with artists of local interest including Philip Aziz, Tom Hilborn, John Kinnear, Halfred Tygesen, Ross Bishop and Val Sloggett.

Unless mentioned otherwise, measurements of the image are height by width, frame size not included.  A sincere effort has been made to mention or photograph any flaws but Gardner Galleries still suggest taking advantage of viewing times.  Condition of frames are not guaranteed.

*Please note shipping of larger paintings (typically any work the frame size of which exceeds 81cm square or 32 x 32in) is not available through Canada Post.  Please contact us for a free shipping quote or more information prior to bidding.
