A splendid offering of artwork from the estate of James (Jim) Angus McInnes, a long-time collector from London, Ontario and client of Gardner Galleries for over 40 years, with a few select additions. Jim had a passion for Canadian and Asian works of art, and this auction includes many Japanese woodblock prints and Chinese watercolours, together with Canadian landscape paintings featuring a 1929 J.W. Beatty oil on board, Stuart Clifford Shaw, Clare Bice, Thomas Mower Martin, Paddy Gunn O'Brien, Reverend Hicks, Christopher George, W.J. Unless mentioned otherwise, measurements of the image are height by width, frame size not included. Condition reports for any work in this auction is available by contacting our office (condition of frames are never guaranteed).
