ABOUT SPINAL CORD INJURY CANADA

LOT DETAILS
Spinal Cord Injury Canada was established in 1945 by WWII veterans who sustained spinal cord injuries in the war. Back then, their founders did amazing things like help create the Department of Veterans' Affairs, establishing the world's first rehabilitation centre for people with spinal cord injuries, and building a supportive network of people and organizations across the country.
Over the years, Spinal Cord Injury Canada established divisions across the country, which now include eight provincial organizations, referred to as Corporate Members. Together, they are a federated network supporting people with spinal cord injuries and other physical disabilities all across Canada, learn more at https://sci-can.ca/
