LOT DETAILS

Including an original print titled "King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra" showing the King and Queen at the opening of His Majesty's First Parliament, February 14, 1901; from a painting by Samuel Begg (1854-1936), who was an artist and significant periodical illustrator, and became best known as a staff member and special artist for The Illustrated London News; 1880 published image titled "Interior of a Colonial Sleeping Car on the Canadian Pacific Railway", with interesting historical features of the environment; "Winter Sports in Canada", original page 28 from the January 11, 1868 edition of The Illustrated London News, representing moose hunting; lastly, an original page from The Graphic of September, 1891 "The Holiday Season - Fishing Off the Start Light House", the image was drawn by Percy MacQuoid RI (1852-1925), a British theatrical designer, collector, connoisseur of furniture and author; this image was a British illustrated publication from 1869-1932 - all four have been matted and in protective plastic packaging, and range in size from 29.2 x 38.1cm (11 1/2 x 15in) to 47.6 x 35.6cm (18 3/4 x 14in)
