FALL 2018 FINE ART AUCTION

We are now accepting quality consignments for our fall fine art auction.  To make an appointment with Grant or James Gardner please phone 519-439-3333 or email info@gardart.com.  Deadline for consignments is Friday, September 7th.

Gardner Galleries have been favoured to offer a large and exceptional collection of original works by noted Canadian artist David Gerry Partridge, RCA, 1919-2006.  Partridge utilized nails (he referred to them as "Naillies") in many of his compositions, the most famous being "Metropolis" which graces the entrance of Toronto City Hall.  This collection is from the artist's estate and consists of many rare early works never before seen.  While major international and some Canadian fine art auction houses such as Bonham's and Christie's have sold his paintings, they rarely appear for sale.  He is represented in the National Gallery of Canada, Art Gallery of Ontario and has been represented by premier Canadian art galleries such as the Roberts Gallery.

Below is a small sample of current consignments.  This page will be updated regularly with the complete online catalogue available by Friday, September 14th.
