A large collection of first day covers, stamp related collectibles and currency, with detailed listing included which describes all of the contents (see last 13 spreadsheet images); Provenance: acquired from a postmistress of the Sheildaig Post Office in a small village in the highlands of Scotland; she would order about 20-30 first day covers for the community, so the covers with the Shieldaig post mark is 1 of a max of 30; generally, the smaller post offices did not sell first day covers, and had to be bought from larger cities
